Enhance the Lebanese Image In Australia

Further enhance the image of the Lebanese Community through the Australian and Lebanese media and also improve the tarnished images the government bodies have of our youth and community. The ALA is looking to implement systems so that it is better prepared and able to respond to issues which arise in the community concerning the welfare of all Lebanese as a whole.

Data System

One way to improve the ALA’s decision making is to provide it with a wealth of knowledge of its surroundings, with the right information it requires at the right time. The ALA needs to know at all times its membership status, government bodies, council members, who are the leaders of religious groups, presidents of associations, presidents of charitable organizations etc….

Revive the Youth Committee

We strive to improve and better develop a path whereby our youth may follow and respect the architectural design which our ancestors have carved with blood, sweat and tears. To better develop our youth we need to give them a part of this journey. The ALA intends to revive the youth and ladies committees which were previously active players of the association.

Implement Financial System

Implement a financial system so that the treasury’s function of the ALA may encompass a number of important issues. These include monitoring the association’s financial condition, managing the accounting systems and preparing financial statements and reporting to the ALA committee at every meeting or as required by auditors.

Further Enhance & Develop the ALA’s Web Page

A number of trends are affecting the business environment of today. One is the transition from an industrial economy to an information service economy. The ALA intends to accelerate in this area so that it may become more effective in attracting our next of kin. We will be further enhancing our web page so that our community may be able to become part of the ALA without attending our meetings and will be able to have their input on local and international issues which is concerning them.
